Welcome to Rackley Llamas!
I have liked llamas for as long as I can remember. I don’t really know when it started, it may have had something to do with a ride in a cart pulled by a llama as a very young child, or even reading Dr Doolittle with his pushmepullyou!
Many years later I was given a llama walk as a birthday present by my daughters, quite a few years later I went on another llama walk whilst on holiday. The dream of having my own llamas one day had begun!
In January 2020 we were lucky enough to be able to move house and have 5 acres of land to give our chickens and pygmy goats (we had bought 3 pygmy goats as our previous garden wasn’t big enough for llamas!) a better quality of life and give us the room for llamas. It also gave me the option of a new career on retirement from the NHS.
In March 2020 we were lucky to be able to buy our first two llamas, Eddie and Leonard, from Watertown Llamas in Devon and Rackley Llamas was born!
We now have 2 new llamas, Samurai(Sami) and Casper who arrived on 30th March 2021.
